DELIVERY INFORMATION

Mayfair Co has a distinguished & eclectic range of luxury furnishings, transforming the ordinary, into the exceptional. We’ve curated some of the finest brands, world-class artisans & specialist suppliers that offer unique pieces & experiences for your home. Our aim is to provide a service that is unsurpassed and as such, it’s important to note that delivery lead-times can vary between pieces. Please note we currently only deliver to UK Mainland and deliveries to the Highlands or other more remote locations can take a further 10-15 working days in addition to the advised lead time.

FREE DELIVERY

Delivery to most of the UK Mainland is complimentary for all orders. This will automatically be applied during the checkout stage of your purchase. We do offer an optional white glove delivery/assembly service at a small additional cost.

DELIVERY DAYS & TIMES

Your order will arrive securely by specialist courier on a weekday, with delivery time-slots possible anytime between 8 am and 8 pm, unless you've arranged a specific time-slot. For security reasons, a signature upon receipt of goods is mandatory, ensuring your items are safely received successfully.

TRACKING INFORMATION

If tracking information is available, you will receive this via email once your item has been dispatched. If you’re ordering multiple items from our collections, your deliveries may arrive on different days and with different couriers. There’s no cause for concern, we do this to ensure you receive your order as swiftly as possible.

DIRECT SHIPMENTS

We work with several suppliers that may deliver to you directly. Each of our contracted couriers are specialists in the industry and will deliver your orders in a professional, secure & friendly manner. On some occasions, you may be contacted by the supplier or courier directly to arrange a suitable day or time for delivery.

PREPARING FOR DELIVERY

To ensure there are no issues during delivery, please make sure your new item will fit through all doorways and hallways, up staircases and underneath ceilings. If any adjustments need to be made to get your item into place, please ensure this is done before delivery.

Our couriers will deliver to a ground floor room of choice only. If your goods require delivery above ground floor, please make us aware at the earliest opportunity as it may result in a delivery failure and charge.

If you are not available to take delivery, the courier may leave a calling card to enable you to rearrange delivery. Please note, that on some occasions, redeliveries and failed deliveries may incur an additional charge.

To ensure we provide the best possible service for you and your items, we select our couriers based on the product type ordered and your delivery postcode.

OUR SPECIALISTS

We pride ourselves in working with specialist delivery partners that offer impeccable service during handling & delivery. They will contact you to agree a delivery date and time-slot that’s convenient for you. You will need to be present during delivery, as goods are to be inspected and signed for. If you are not available during the agreed delivery window, there will be a redelivery charge starting from £35.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Tracking information is generally provided via email and via SMS with a 1-2 hour timeslot on the day of delivery.

Courier contact details are also provided, should you need to make any specific arrangements ahead of of the date or time of delivery.

ONCE DELIVERED

On delivery, please check your items carefully before you sign for them. If you are unable to check the items before the courier leaves, please ensure you sign for the delivery as unchecked. We recommend that you keep your packaging and order confirmation email as this will be needed for any after-sales enquiries or returns. 

Goods shipped with some of our specialist couriers are done so on an ‘Unpack and Check’ service. The driver will inspect the goods with you to check for any faults. Please allow them time to do this. Once signed for we regret we may not be able to process a return due to any damage or fault.

Once you have received and signed for your delivery, the items will become your property, provided they have been paid for in full. We cannot accept any liability for the loss, damage or destruction of the items after they have been delivered unless they were reported damaged or faulty when delivered or they were delivered incorrectly.

For items that require assembly, please check that you have all the necessary parts, instructions and information. Always follow manufacturer's instructions and use recommended tools. We are not able to issue refunds for any items that have been incorrectly assembled or damaged during the assembly process.

If you plan to put your items into storage, please check your items thoroughly before you do so.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ELSE?

1. The risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
2. Whilst we will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on our Website, we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by any late delivery or failure to deliver within the estimated timescales. We aim to keep you updated if there are any delays. We will endeavour to get your goods to you as soon as possible. Should you wish to cancel your order, you will be refunded once the goods have been returned to our distribution centre(s) in line with our Returns Policy or classified as lost by the Carrier company.
3. We will attempt to deliver your order to the delivery address stated on your order form. If products are returned to us as undeliverable either because of an incorrect address or because of customer failure to contact the courier company or collect the goods from the depot where requested, we will refund the price of the products less delivery costs incurred by us in sending out the goods plus any additional costs charged to us by the courier company for returning the goods to us.
4. Once an order has been dispatched and assigned for delivery, it cannot be amended or cancelled.
